Director/Authorised Supervisor (Non Teaching)

Revesby Uniting Church Child Care Centre is part of Uniting Care Children's services, a not for profit, community based organisation providing quality child care throughout NSW/ACT.

Our staff enjoys a supportive and professional

work environment and are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of children and their families and providing a friendly, caring environment for all.

The centre has 58 places and has three age grouped rooms catering for 2-5 year olds, including children with additional needs.

Our curriculum is child centred.

Open 7.30am-5.30pm.

Flexible shifts and above award conditions.

We seek a full time director whose role will include:

• Ensuring service adheres to regulation and licensing procedures
• Co-ordinating and managing the day to day operations of the service
• Liaising with staff and community

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

• Bachelor of Teaching/Early Childhood
• Ability to meet authorised supervisor requirements as per regulations
• Experience and knowledge of QIAS and regulations
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills

DESIRABLE

• Previous experience as an authorised supervisor
• Experience in working with children with additional needs
• Ability to build relationships and a community spirit
