A Montessori Pre-School seeks an Early Childhood Teacher to lead and run this small, country pre-school!

You will be fully supported with a Montessori trained teacher and 2 fabulous assistants within the CYCLE 1 program.

The children will be in multi-aged groups from 3-6 years old, with some just attending the Kinder sessions and others for long day care.

The pre-school is surrounded by beautiful gardens – including a veggie patch for the children to look after!

Managerial experience will be beneficial for this role as you will be responsible for running the pre-school (with the help of an excellent, full-time administrator), including all of the incursions and excursions held throughout the term.

Applicants must be available for a hand-over/orientation period towards the end of this term and be ready to commit to full time hours as of the 29th January 2008.

You will be reporting directly to the committee of management and meet with them once per month to let them know how things are going.

You will get every 2nd Monday off work as the children do not have sessions on Mondays and you will be paid under the MECA agreement.

A BA Early Childhood Teaching/Graduate Diploma in Early Child Education is ESSENTIAL for this position and a current first aid certificate must be obtained before you take over the Pre-School.
